Ghibli awesomeness

One cannot talk about soundtracks without talking about the beautiful songs coming from the equally beautiful Ghibli movies. These movies have done things to my soul, I cannot describe. I fully believe that if every kid grows up watching Ghibli movies, the world will be a better place.

The singer in this song is called Kate Covington a.k.a katethegreat19. Her voice makes this song even more magical. She is also famous for singing some themes from FF.

Sung by Aoi Teshima, this song also made my heart turn into jello. I have not seen this Ghibly movie yet. I definetly must.

I need this soundtrack for my life. Everything I´d do will automatically become epic

Soundtrack of Final Fantasy IV. Holy cow, this is seriously beautiful. Nobuo Uematsu creates wonderful melodies and Risa Ohki´s voice is really amazing and unique. I wish she´d have songs apart from FF, sofar I havent found anything yet.

I feel kind of odd talking about all of this even though I´ve never played the games. But I am genuinly interested. If I´m remeber correctly, I once had a FF game on my DS (back when I still played DS, good times) but it was crap. I think that was because it was in japanese though.... Whatever, either way I am so gonna start playing and watching.

I had no idea that Final fantasy has such a large and established franchise. Since I never really played videogames, mainly because I´m too much of a cheapo to buy consoles and whatnot, I just assumed that they were just some games that happened to have some movies. I know I´m a noob.
But after looking at some of the stuff, I am really awed. Final Fantasy centered drawings/paintings by Yoshitaka Amano and many other artists are truly amazing. Not to mention the soundtracks. Really beautiful stuff.

Start

Living in this solitary village away from civilisation, I often find myself in a situation where I sit infront of the computer until 3am. Internet is one of my little sources that provides me with entertainment, but my addiction to it has caused me to neglect work or other hobbies. I spend my days locked in my room on the laptop, stuffing food down my throat and never doing anything meaingful. I have not contributed anything to the world making my significance nill.

So in order to be atleast a slightest bit productive, I am starting a blog.
I hope in the future, that I will able to share my interest and thoughts and evoke some kind of reactions/emotions in others in the people who are willing to read.
